The ticket price felt worth it. The kids had a great time, and it made for a really fun day out

We stopped for lunch while we were at the zoo, for zoo food, it was way better than I thought it would be. The fries came out hot, the burger actually tasted fresh, and my kid was very happy with the chicken tenders.

It’s still priced like you’d expect at a zoo, so I wouldn’t compare it to a regular restaurant, but in that setting it totally worked. Portions were decent, the food came out fast, and it made the day easier. Not fancy, just solid and tasty.

My kids had such a good time on the train and carousel. The lines were short, which was a nice surprise. Nothing fancy, but my gut says it’s one of those simple little stops that’s totally worth it when you’ve got kids with you.

The animals had plenty of space and looked comfortable, which was nice to see. I get impatient with places where the enclosures feel cramped, so this was a relief.

I had a feeling this would be a hit with the kids, and sure enough, they had an absolute blast. They were laughing and running around the whole time, which pretty much confirmed what I already thought, it’s a really fun spot for kids.

We had a really nice day at the SF Zoo. The food was on the pricey side, which I kind of expected for a place like this, but the portions were decent enough. I’d probably bring a few snacks next time just to save a bit. Overall, it was still a fun visit and I’d gently recommend checking it out if you’re planning a day there

The gift shop had a lot of really cute stuff, and the kids were instantly obsessed. We only meant to look around, but somehow everyone found something they “needed,” so clearly they’ve got the layout working in their favor

We took our two kids to the SF Zoo and had a really nice day. It was super stroller-friendly, which made a big difference, and there were plenty of places to stop for snacks or take a bathroom break. The kids were especially excited about the giraffes and spent a lot of time at the playground area. Everyone we spoke to on staff was friendly too. For a family outing, it felt relaxed and not stressful, which is always a win. I’d definitely say it’s worth going if you’re looking for an easy day out with kids...

We went on Sunday and it wasn’t too crowded, which was nice. The lines were short and we were able to see everything without much hassle. That said, a couple of times it felt like the staff didn’t really notice us when we had questions, so that was a little frustrating.

I went on a weekend fully expecting the lines to be a nightmare, but getting in was shockingly quick. Like, I’m 100% convinced it was the easiest weekend visit we could’ve had. Even the waits for food and the restrooms weren’t bad at all. With kids, that makes a massive difference. The whole day was just way smoother than I thought it would be...

Buying the tickets was fine overall, but the website was loading slow and I had to refresh it once becuase it kinda got stuck. I did get the email in the end, so it worked out, just a little annoying tbh.

i mean, I found a spot way quicker than I expected, so that was a nice surprise...

I liked the place overall, but yeah, I definitely got turned around a couple times inside. Maybe it was just me not paying close enough attention, but the signs could be a lot clearer because I found myself stopping and thinking, wait, am I even going the right way?

There were, like, so many different animals to see. I was impressed by the variety and just had a really nice time wandering around.

We visited the SF Zoo last weekend, and I was really impressed with how clean everything was. I’m a bit particular about places being well maintained, especially when we’re out with the kids, and the zoo definitely met my standard. The walkways, picnic areas, and even the spots near the animal enclosures all looked cared for. I don’t remember seeing trash around at all, which made the whole day feel easier and more enjoyable. Easy 5 stars from us.

We got the SF Zoo membership this year, i’m already glad we did. I’m a little biased because my kids love animals and I personally like having an easy outing that doesn’t require a ton of planning, but we’ve gone enough times now that it basically paid for itself compared to buying day tickets each visit.

Using it at the gate has been simple, and I really like that we can just pop in for a couple of hours without feeling like we have to make a whole big day of it. For our family, it’s been a great low-pressure go-to spot.

Had a really good day at the zoo overall! The bears and giraffes were super easy to see, which made my day. But a few of the exhibits had glare or stuff blocking the view, and I was dramatically suffering for a minute because I just wanted one clear look. Still, it was a fun visit and definitely worth going. I just wish some of the viewing areas were a little easier to see through.

From what I remember, the restrooms were actually clean, and I didn’t notice any weird smell when I went in. Definitely better than a lot of places I’ve stopped at.

I visited with my sister, and while we were hoping for a nice day out, some of the animal enclosures just felt a little sad to us. A few of the animals didn’t seem very happy or comfortable, and we both left feeling kind of uneasy about the whole experience.

Took my kids there last weekend and felt safe the whole time. There were staff around, the gates looked secure, and check-in was easy. Didn’t run into any weird issues on the site either, so overall it was a good experience...
